IMG Game Poll Scores
Scores are averaged using the five categories in the game poll. The overall score is weighted 60 percent while graphics, sound, speed, and interface count for 10 percent each for a total of 100 percent. The following ratings have a minimum of 5 respondents.
Hellcats Over the Pacific: As most have said, Hellcats and Leyte Gulf are far and away the best flight games (way ahead of Falcon and Red Baron). - Adam Newman, Tucson, Arizona
Might & Magic 3: This game is very addictive. The graphics are some of the best I have ever seen on a Mac yet. Anyone who can't afford to stay up past 4 A.M. definitely should not buy this game. - Chris Gifford, Daytona Beach, Florida
I love this game - easily the best RPG ever for the Mac. - Darryl deGraaf, Houston, Texas
Heaven & Earth: Heaven&Earth is fantastic! I love puzzle games, and these have been a joy solving (well, I'm not finished yet <blush>). The graphics are superb, although full animation really slows down the action. Also, a couple of puzzles are repeated (the same puzzle only in two different categories). Nevertheless, I love the animation and the sound quality. - Clay Colwell, Austin, Texas
Rise of the Dragon: (Slow, even on a 50 Mhz 030 chipped IIsi - the hard disk accesses just take way too long and although the painted graphics are charming, the rendered, animated graphics of games these days leave this game behind. Spectacular when it came out though I have to admit). - David Sattar, Paris, France
Stellar 7: Although this is an enjoyable game (especially for those of us who liked it from other machines), Dynamix could have done a better job porting it over to the Mac.
- Jerry Harmon , Portland, Oregon
Eight Ball Deluxe: A _huge_ step up from Tristan. Better graphics, and much improved play. A great idea to license real pinball games. Mark Nevelow, New York, New York
